Klosh Group is hiring a market-facing Sales Development Representative in a true Hunter role, whose primary mission is to build a qualified pipeline. This role is responsible for creating opportunities through disciplined outbound prospecting, intelligent targeting, and relentless follow-up.

There is no inherited book of business. There are no inbound leads waiting. Success comes from initiative, activity, resilience, and the ability to represent the Klosh Group brand with credibility and confidence.

Compensation reflects this reality. The base salary is intentionally modest and paired with a significant performance-driven incentive structure tied directly to qualified pipeline creation and closed revenue contribution. High producers will be rewarded accordingly.

YOUR REsponsibIlities

Pipeline Creation & Outbound Prospecting

  • Generate new leads through high-volume outbound activity (calls, emails, LinkedIn, referrals, events).

  • Research and identify target organizations in the West, Northwest, and Southwest regions of the U.S.

  • Initiate first contact with owners, developers, agencies, and capital program leaders.

  • Qualify prospects and convert interest into defined pursuit opportunities.

  • Maintain disciplined weekly activity levels (calls, touches, meetings set).

Opportunity AdvancemenT

  • Partner with the Director of Business Development to move qualified leads forward.

  • Facilitate introductions between prospects and senior leadership.

  • Support pursuit strategy and early positioning for RFQs/RFPs.

  • Drive consistent follow-up to prevent stalled conversations.

  • Market Intelligence & Targeting.

  • Monitor capital programs, funding cycles, project announcements, and organizational shifts.

  • Track competitor activity and partnership trends.

  • Surface actionable insight from frontline outreach conversations.

  • Maintain accurate and real-time CRM data & Performance Discipline (Zoho).

  • Track activity metrics including outreach volume, meetings secured, and pipeline stage movement.

  • Participate in weekly pipeline and performance review sessions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & EXPECTATIONS

  • Primarily remote role with structured outbound prospecting as the core activity. Regular regional travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.

  • This role requires comfort with rejection and persistence through frequent 'no' responses. Activity volume, consistency, and follow-through are critical

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Construction Management, Real Estate, or related field preferred, not required.

  • 2–6 years of outbound sales, business development, recruiting, or client-facing experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to generate leads or open new accounts.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience using CRM systems and outbound prospecting tools.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Base compensation for this role is $50,000/year.

  • On-target-earnings (OTE) should expect $90,000/year.

  • Additionally, there is unlimited upside for deals that close.

  • Three (3) weeks of PTO.

  • Not an inbound lead handling role.

  • Not an administrative sales support position.

  • Not a relationship maintenance-only role.

  • Not a low-activity networking position.
