Marketing Manager

In this role, you will bring relevant marketing experience and an ability to leverage market knowledge to identify, analyze and support the pursuit of new opportunities. You will curate consistent and tailored messaging to prospective and current clients, and through collaboration with your coworkers, build and tell compelling stories. This position will provide you the opportunity to own corporate messaging, drive strategic content, build relationships, and define client acquisition journeys. Your knowledge of our clients’ future needs and plans will inform, direct, and focus our marketing messaging to ensure we are promoting and delivering the most relevant services. 

To excel in this role, you are an active listener, enjoy creating compelling messaging, and hunger to build a strong demand funnel through curation of digital (social, web and email) and physical collateral and client engagement. You are an efficient self-starter requiring minimal oversight while knowing when to include team members to help solicit and win new opportunities for the continued growth of our small business. Overall, you are someone who wants to own and drive strategic messaging, research and analyze development and construction opportunities, and execute effective marketing strategies.

Job Requirements

  • Work with leadership to develop and maintain annual marketing plan for achieving demand generation goals.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to define and manage client buyer personas and journeys.

  • Develop and execute content creation that supports our lead generation strategy, accelerates the client buyer’s journey, and targets our key market sectors.

  • Lead identification, engagement, and ongoing improvement of demand generation initiatives.

  • Own the request for proposal (RFP) creation, submittal and follow up process with prospective clients.

  • Manage physical collateral and digital channels such as social media, digital marketing, and the company website.

  • In partnership with leadership, own competitor analysis of win/loss reviews to produce actionable outcomes for continued improvement of client acquisition cycle.

  • Align a love of data, ability to analyze a marketing funnel, identification and sizing of market opportunities, and application of probability scoring to link opportunities to growth objectives.

  • Collect, curate, and maintain customer testimonials that reflect client satisfaction and company expertise.

  • Own internal and external brand communications..

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of brand, customer, demand generation or growth marketing experience (AEC industry experience is a plus, but not required)

  • Highly collaborative, team-oriented attitude.

  • Excellent written, analytical, and communications skills.

  • Creative skills and experience working with designers to distill complex content into powerful and consumable marketing pieces such as infographics and case studies.

  • Proficient with Adobe products (InDesign, Photoshop, or Illustrator) and Microsoft Word. Vantagepoint experience is a plus but not required. Willingness to use our existing systems is required.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives to stay on strategy, on time and on budget.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration (Operations, Business Development and Project Delivery) and influencing skills to drive alignment and accountability to revenue goals.

  • Base pay range for this position is $100,000-$140,000
